Located south east from London, Canterbury has absolutely everything to offer language students. Dublin, Ireland

Junior Summer Programmes Dublin, Ireland FL offers both homestay and residential programmes in Dublin, Ireland for junior students (11-17 years old). Dublin is the perfect language destination which is steeped in history and has an abundance to offer students outside of lessons. Boys and girls between 12 and 17 years of age are invited to enroll on any one of these exciting new courses which combine English language tuition with one of our specialist sports listed below:

Students are grouped according to their experience in their sport of choice. Complete beginners as well as those with more experience are catered for. All of our coaches and instructors are all fully qualified in their specialist sport and fully trained in all aspects of student welfare and safety.

The aim of these specialist courses is to learn English, improve your knowledge and skill level in your chosen sports while making friends and learning more about local cultures.

TFA Tennis

Following English lessons in the morning students have four afternoons intensive tennis coaching covering all the basic skills in tennis including forehand, backhand, groundstroke, serving and volleying.

Emphasis will also be placed on aerobic tennis, conditioning and match psychology. All our tennis coaches are fully accredited by Tennis Ireland and are experienced in coaching teenagers at all levels of ability. The course is open to boys and girls between 12 and 17 years and caters from complete beginners to advanced players.


TFA Sailing

The course is run in conjunction with the Irish National Sailing School, Ireland’s leading provider of Junior Sailing Courses. Students are grouped according to their sailing experience and complete beginners as well as more experienced sailors are catered for. Instructors are all fully qualified and are trained in all aspects of student welfare and safety.

Essential sailing gear is provided including wetsuits and buoyancy aids and each student’s progress is monitored carefully by the instructors each week. At the end of the 2 week programme, successful students will obtain their Level 1 internationally recognised sailing certificate.

The aim of the course is to learn English, make new friends and discover the fantastic sport of sailing.


TFA Golf

This course is open to boys and girls between 12 and 17 years of age who would like to learn English and improve their technical golf skills. To bring you this exciting new programme we have partnered with the Leopardstown Golf centre Ireland’s premier golf academy. This state-of-the-art facility includes a magnificent 18-hole golf course, 75 floodlit driving range, all weather putting and chipping green, indoor putting area and private golf academy.

Students take general English classes in the morning followed by golf coaching in the afternoon at the Leopardstown Golf Centre. Coaching is carried out by fully qualified PGA professional golf professionals covering every aspect of the game including putting, chipping, sand shots, swing technique, rules and etiquette.

Complete beginners as well as the more experienced golfers are welcome. The aim is to have fun and improve the students love of golf and technical skills.


TFA Rugby

This course offers a winning combination of English language tuition combined with rugby at our state of the art Junior Centre in Castlepark.

The rugby camp is run by fully acrediterd I.R.F.U ( Irish Rugby Football Union ) coaches and the emphasis is to improve the student’s technical ability in the basic skills of passing, tackling, evasion and kicking have fun and improve their level of English at the same time.

The course is open to boys and girls between 12 and 17 years who have previously played rugby and are motivated to improve their technical skills.


TFA Football

This course offers a winning combination of English language tuition and football and is open to boys and girls of all levels of ability and experience.

New players are introduced to the game and learn the key skills, and more experienced players can concentrate on improving their overall game and maximizing their technical skills. The coaches are professional FAI (Football Association of Ireland) approved coaches and have wide experience in coaching teenagers.

Our partner year-round mini-stay programmes (also known as school tours) are a great way to explore Ireland with your school friends and teachers. They are the perfect way to learn English in a fun and innovative environment. Visiting school groups take part in project-based morning lessons which are linked to afternoon activities. Each group has the option to add additional evening activities and weekend excursions where they can explore the beauty of Ireland.

Our most common accommodation choice for school groups is staying with a friendly Irish host family but residential options are available upon request.

We understand that every group of students visiting Ireland has different requirements. Some groups want five days of lessons, some want three, some groups want afternoon and evening activities, some groups are comfortable organising their own.
